I generally  use microsoft paint for drawing , Sketch Up 8 whatever is said about this tool its really less .Its the best choice to draw any type of drawings either it may be in architecture view to a simple diagram .This one is really amazing.It  provides us to draw even images in 3D even 3D text like this one.I am still exploring it once ,I think so you will also like it.

Is MAC ADDRESS changeable?

I do say YES .I think so you know  what a MAC address is ,its importance,its format and other interesting things about it.If you dont know please know about that as its very very important.

First lets us know how to find MAC address of the system

>goto command prompt

>type "ipconfig/all" without quotations

this command is generally used to know the full information about the ip-address of the system.

>The address which is headed by the title "Physical Address....." is your system MAC address.

Now lets know how to change this very very important one which can be used to hide our identity

>open control panel

>select Network Connections

>right click on it and select "status"

>select properties

>click on configure

>go to Advanced tab

>on the left hand side select "Network Address"

>now come to right side of the window the default value is set to "Not Present"

>click on the radio button "value"

>now type the address you want it to be

to know whether your MAC address is changed or not go back to the first step and you will know.

A change in MAC address sometimes effects your network connections ,  so please e carefull

Forgot Your Router Password

You had recently changed your router password and you dont remember it

all you have to do is follow these steps and the router is under your control .

>open command prompt

>type "ipconfig" without quotations

>write down the ip-address which is given beside the  "Default gateway:"

>open any browser

> in the address bar type this ip-address

>you have to know the default user names and passwords for that particular router

for example:

user name :admin
password :password

>after entering the ip-address a small window prompts for user name and password if you know its well else try for default passwords

>thats it the router is know in your hands you can do what the hell you want with that one know.

once the router is under your control i think so you know what to do .

RETRIEVE the deleted

Some times  images get deleted accidently ,  it becomes difficult to again get those if we dont have any back up.For recover of such files we can use RECUVA

Recuva (pronounced "recover") is a file recovery tool  it is a fast, small and will even run from a USB drive.

It requires 128 MB of RAM

A small WORD bug

This was discovered by a Brazilian.

Fennec Alpha 4 for Windows Mobile

Mozilla announced today the release of the fourth alpha flavor of their mobile browser for handsets powered by Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system, namely Fennec. According to the company, the mobile solution is based on the same browser engine as the desktop Firefox 3.6, though it features great changes under the hood, and with intensive optimizations for mobile phones.

Windows 7 PCs May Freeze When a Blu-ray Disc Is Inserted

You have a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. Windows Explorer may stop responding when you insert a recordable Blu-ray disc (BD-R) into the Blu-ray drive on this computer, the software giant explained. “This problem may occur after you install the universal drive format (UDF) file system driver (Udfs.sys) update.”
In the first half of December 2009, Microsoft released an update for the Universal Disk Format (UDF) file system driver (Udfs.sys) for Windows 7 and for Windows Server 2008 R2. The refresh in question was designed to resolve a variety of issues related to Windows 7’s Udfs.sys. Apparently, while it indeed dealt with the problems associated with Udfs.sys, the update also managed to introduce new problems, causing Windows 7 computers to freeze when a recordable Blu-ray Disc is inserted in the BD-R drive.

Delete the UNDELETABLE file

Sometimes we get  errrors like  'Cannot delete file: access denied,' or may be 'Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use' when we want to delete a file .This can especially happen if a trojan or a virus is actively using a file and therefore is not allowing it to be deleted. All you have to do is download the unloacker ,install and follow these simple steps to solve this problem
>Simply right click the folder or file and select Unlocker

> If the folder or file is locked, a window listing of lockers will appear.

Make ur Windows a genuine one

As most of them will be using piracy versions of  WINDOWS XP ,you may encounter with a problem to make ur WINDOWS XP a genuine one. If you fail to do so you have to format again .Here is a reg file which makes ur OS a genuine one. All you have to do is download the reg file and right click on the unzipped one and select merge thats it ,restart your system and it now becomes a genuine one.

Block a web site without using any s/w

Blocking a website manually from your own computer by making a small modification to a file named host in your windows folder.


To perform this , we need to go to

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

that is go to C drive first, then go to windows folder, then system32 folder then to drivers folder and finally a folder named etc.

Once inside, see for a file named hosts. Right click on that file and select Open or Open With , a small box will be shown, select notepad or wordpad and then click on OK.

Inside, you will find a line such as

127.0.0.1 localhost

now this IP address, i.e. 127.0.0.1 is called a local host that is it will redirect to your own computer everytime you try to access this IP address.

Try putting this code into you web server and you will see that it could not connect.
 
For ex: 127.0.0.1 www.ask.com

Run Turbo C/C++ in Win Vista/Win 7

1. Make a Folder in C Drive, name it Turbo.


2. Copy the Folder TC in Folder Turbo.

3. Download http://bit.ly/6CUJ7l and Install DOS BOX. After Installation finished you will see two DOS window Pops. One is Z Prompt u can Ignore another DOS window. We have to work in Z Prompt.

4. Type the following command in Z Prompt " Z: mount D C:\Turbo\ ". (You can Replace D with any alphabet it will work as virtual drive).

Now u should get a message which says: " Drive D is mounted as a local directory c:\Turbo\ "

5. Now Type D: to shift to D Drive. Then type cd TC\Bin, then TC.exe

You Done! Press Alt + Enter for full screen mode.

Please : Don't use shortcut keys to perform operations in TC because they might be a shortuct key for DOSBOX also . Eg : Ctrl+F9 will exit DOSBOX rather running the code .

On the Turbo C++ goto Options>Directories>Change the source of TC to the source directory [D] ( i.e. virtual D: refers to original c:\Turbo\ . So make the path change to something like D:\TC\include and D:\TC\lib respectively )

Deleting undeletable files manually using command prompt

>Suppose the file we want to delete is named 'undeletable file' and is located somewhere in our c drive, program files. Our first step is to navigate to that folder using command prompt.


>To access the command prompt (for those who don't know, else skip to next procedure), press Win key + R to get the run command, or click on Start, then run and type 'cmd' or 'command' without the quotes. Vista users may use the Search box after clicking on Start.(click on the images to see them in their original size)
 
Once we get the command prompt, the next step is to go to the directory of the file we want to remove. In our case, we have a file in C:\Program Files\undeletable file.exe


>To navigate to that place we type the following without the quotes.

--type 'cd\' . This command takes us to the root (beginning) of the current drive (we are in C drive initially)

--type 'cd program files'. cd stands for change directory. We are using it because we need to go into a directory/ folder name 'program files'. After typing this, we will be inside program files and command prompt will show as follows. C:\Program Files>

>Now that we have come to our destination it is time to delete the file that we want to remove. To do this, you may additionally see if the file is present inside the current directory/folder. Do this by typing 'dir' and you can see your target file. This is not needed if you already know if the file is present inside that folder.

>Now, to delete the file type

del "undeletable file.exe" or

del undele~1.exe



The file name is put inside the double quotes because it has multiple words with space in between. If we neglect the quotes then it will detect only undeletable and will show error since there's no file with that name. Another method is to append ~1 after the 1st six letters of the file name. Note that in case of a file name such as 'bat manager.exe' the word bat has only 3 letters, so in such cases we write it as 'batman~1.exe' (without the quotes) and our work will be. What we are doing here is that we are neglecting the space character. See the image below to understand clearly.
 
>If all the procedures have been done properly then you will find that the undeletable file is now gone.


In most cases involving viruses, the files are locked into memory and are thus difficult to remove by the earlier method. Thus, if the above method has failed in removing your undeletable file then here is a method stronger than above.

Some times we want to edit something in PDF but due to security reasons we can not  edit . Now we can edit ,convert PDF to images or text and we can set password tooo with the help of  Quickpdftools .This is a free utility which works in Windows 2000,XP,Vista(32 bit).I had tried this one for converting PDF to image and text files and it gave better results.

NO Folder Name is this possible

 

If you ever tried how to create a folder with no
name...then try this:

1-> Create a New Folder from Windows Explorer
2-> Select rename & type: "ALT+255"(Use Numpad)..thats it!
ALT+255 stands for blank character in ASCII...so it still accepts your folder name!

Recovery from WINDOWS XP crash
